As we may have discussed, this blog was created to open a forum to discuss American (and world) topics (politics, economics, etc.). Ideally, one of us will post an opinion/link/article/quote/etc. every so often, and the others will follow up with comments that they might have regarding the issue. Please feel free to comment as much or little as you want and to invite any friends who might be interested.

Thanks to DeFrances (and Brooke) for picking the title. As DeFrances essentially said, politics has become too much of a soundbite - or twitter post - especially amongst our age group. Hopefully this forum will be a place where ideas can flow more eloquently and, if nothing else, where we can keep in contact.

There are no real rules for this blog; hopefully it will be a space completely open for differing ideas/opinions/etc. That being said, anything personally offensive (see: name calling) to the other authors or generally offensive to society as a whole (see: racist) will be removed.

Thanks and looking forward to getting started dicussing topics this weekend/next week.
